Psychological Testing

Socio-emotional Functioning Testing (Child, Adolescent)

Children and adolescents who are gifted, have a learning disability, are struggling with developmental difficulties, or have experienced significant stressors may experience higher levels of:

  • depression, anxiety,
  • helplessness, isolation,
  • social difficulties
  • suicidal thoughts, substance abuse,
  • anger, and risk-taking behaviors.

Standardized testing for socio-emotional functioning accurately assesses how severe and critical these thoughts and feelings are to guide intervention and treatment recommendations to parents and teachers.

Personality Assessment (Adolescent, Adult):

A comprehensive evaluation of personality structure, character traits, defenses, interpersonal skills, relationship styles, and emotional make-up provides in-depth information on a person’s unique long-term psychological functioning.

Personality assessments are an effective, reliable, and accurate way to gather complicated information about a person’s way of being, strengths, and vulnerabilities efficiently and quickly.

Diagnostic Assessment Testing (Child, Adolescent, Adult)

State of the art testing is utilized to clarify between symptoms, diagnoses, and personality presentations;  an accurate and specific diagnoses allows us to develop and implement an effective treatment plan and interventions.   Diagnostic testing enables us to distinguish between diagnoses such as:
